since my last: since this is the first ever entry onto my now page i've been very busy, i guess, what with being born and all.
touching grass: we have a friend coming to visit tomorrow but a tornado warning -level storm rolled in and ripped off a chunk of the repair work we had done on the roof so instead of tidying the office i was putting out buckets to catch the leaks. it's honestly not unfixable even if it is annoying (or at least, it's on par with the other repairs we're slowly fighting our way through). tonight after work birdie is going to mow the lawn, and i'm probably going to go and check on the half-dug front planter to make sure the rain didn't damage anything there either.
mindlessly scrolling: we've been watching observation log of my fiancee since i liked the manga and watching anything with actual plot or emotional weight isn't working out. before that our slop of the dinner was re:zero, because i love watching time loop media that almost actually interfaces with its own premise. we got up to the ending arc of season one before watching puck grieve emilia got a little too sad. in other news tidal is pushing me playlists that almost don't suck. right now i'm really enjoying growing up chopped for a given value of "enjoying". i've also, and it is embarrassing, been going absolutely insane about the merlin lore in afk. and by that i mean i've been going insane about cyran.
